Our commitment is to make this world of optimised information more legible and accessible while providing relevant and sustainable transformations.
As a means of meeting our commitments, innovation is at the heart of LGM Group's purpose. It is the passion of our teams, and our vision.

We are stakeholders in the French R&D ecosystem (SE, labs, etc.) with a permanent relationship with the industry (POC, POV, etc.) to support technological breakthroughs in the design and operation of tomorrow's systems in order to offer significant improvement in our future living conditions. The LGM Group is well-positioned to deal with all matters impacting our near future: clean and renewable energies, autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, robotisation, etc.

Our R&D strategy

LGM Digital implements its Research and Development strategy by pursuing a simple goal: to convert information into a second digital skin, which is easy to produce, use and assimilate, both by individuals and organisations. This is why information engineering, digital transformation and continuity nurture our vision of the transformation of the world around us. Combining our vision with the challenges faced by the industry players we are fortunate to work with is the point of origin of our research and development strategy.

We must therefore address numerous research and development subjects in order to meet these commitments to:

Innovation

Because we have a strong belief in the vision of a word simplified by data:

Each year, LGM Group invests EUR 5.5 million in innovation.

Our R&D organisation

Transverse to the other group departments (Operational and Sales, HR, etc.), the Department of Technology & Innovation is responsible for the following:

The DTI is at the heart of LGM Digital's R&D strategy. Playing an active role in the funding process of R&D projects (subsidies, co-development projects), the DTI also steers innovation and supports the technical teams which implement it.

Sample projects

Data4.0perations

The purpose of the Data4.0perations programme is to develop robust and agnostic interoperable technologies and standards to support democratisation of digital continuity and the creation of value between players of an industrial chain (suppliers of technologies, products & services, OEM, end user, maintenance providers, etc.).

Its objectives are to:

SKOP

The SKOP project is aimed at developing a tool enabling any individual holding a piece of knowledge or a technical fact to formalise and broadcast the latter in a quick and simple manner, using a smartphone or a tablet.

The challenge? To value expertise and ensure quick and widespread broadcasting of technical knowledge and facts within organisations.

With the development of such a tool, we wish to provide industrialists and operators with the ability to capitalise on expertise and feedback from all knowledgeable players in the field, in order to share its value effectively within the organisation.

These projects are led with support from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region
