This paper presents a methodology to specify and then develop a test sequence to locate failed modules.

It presents the steps implemented in order to meet requirements such as localisation rate, coverage rate and test duration.

The process has been industrialised. Feedback is discussed since this method, which is still evolving, has been implemented on 10 different pieces of equipment.

The equipment analysed was subjected to fault injection in order to check the relevance of the defined test scheduling.
